INDOOR FIELD RULES at steeltown
Know the rules. Play safe. Compete hard inside Steeltown’s indoor arena.
OUR INDOOR SAFETY GU8IDELINES
Keep It Fun. Keep It Safe.
These general rules apply facility-wide to ensure safety, respect, and enjoyment for everyone.
Here are the concise Indoor Facility Rules for Steeltown Event Park in Oakdale, PA — Pittsburgh’s premier year-round adventure destination with a massive climate-controlled indoor space featuring paintball, airsoft, gellyball, laser tag, Nerf wars, axe throwing, golf simulators, gaming lounge (Meta Quest VR & Nintendo Switch), remote control cars (RC racing, crawling, construction), parties, team building, and multisport fun for all ages.
Follow all activity-specific safety rules and staff instructions. No running, rough play, horseplay, or reckless movement in common areas. Report hazards or injuries to staff immediately.
Most activities 8+ or 10+ (some 14+/18+ like axe throwing); check per activity. Children under 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Waivers required for participants.
Closed-toe, secure shoes mandatory in all active areas (no sandals, heels, flip-flops, or open-toed). Dress for activity (loose clothing for action sports; non-marking/clean shoes for simulators/gaming). No spikes in golf bays.
Zero tolerance for alcohol/drugs influencing play. No foul language, aggression, bullying, or rude conduct in our family-friendly environment.
Handle all gear (headsets, controllers, blasters, axes, vehicles, simulators) gently — no dropping, throwing, tampering, or unauthorized modifications. Report damage immediately.
Use provided sanitizers/wipes on shared equipment (VR headsets, controllers, etc.) after use. Keep hands clean; no food/drinks in restricted zones (e.g., near electronics or throwing areas).
No real weapons, knives, personal projectiles, or outside equipment without staff approval. Personal items (phones, bags) stored safely — no blocking walkways.
Stick to booked time slots/sessions. Arrive early for check-in/briefings. Yield stations/lanes promptly during peak times; share fairly.
Staff, refs, and coaches have final say on rules, disputes, and safety. Violations may result in warnings, removal from activity, or ejection from facility.
Focus on safe, positive play and teamwork. Excessive aggression, cheating, or unsafe actions end your session. Enjoy the adrenaline — but keep it controlled!
