6. Never Shoot Without Facemask

If a player is not wearing eye protection, yell “EYES ON!” and notify organizers immediately.

Elimination Rules

1. Direct Hits

Any direct hit to body, clothing, or attached gear counts as elimination. Friendly fire counts. Marker hits allow switching to secondary weapon.

2. Ricochets

Ricochets do not count. Shots passing through light cover (grass, bushes) count as direct hits.

3. Grenades

  • Within 10 feet = eliminated.
  • In enclosed bunker/room = eliminated.
  • BB grenades eliminate if hit.
  • If fully behind cover and cannot see grenade = safe.

4. Confirming Elimination

Shout “DEAD” or “HIT”, raise weapon overhead, and proceed to dead zone. Fake elimination = cheating and removal from game.

5. No Physical Contact

No grappling or excessive shooting. Light tap with training knife counts as silent elimination.

6. Avoid Unnecessary Pain

Under 10 feet: demand surrender first. If refused, SEMI-AUTO only. Stop shooting once opponent surrenders or is eliminated.

7. Knives

Real knives prohibited. Only plastic/rubber training knives allowed. Knife eliminations require physical tap.

8. Dead Men Tell No Tales

Eliminated players may not give tactical information to active players.

9. No Time Outs

Timeouts only for extreme emergencies. Equipment issues require player to exit and return via spawn.

10. Referee Decisions

Referee decisions are final. Official referees wear orange markings and reflective vests.

11. Proper Conduct

Respect all players and staff. No foul language. Steeltown Airsoft is a family-friendly environment.
